When V for Vendetta came out, it wasn't a film everyone connected with straight away. But for me, it was a brilliantly crafted movie with two incredible performances at the centre of it.
Over time, V and the Guy Fawkes mask have taken on a meaning of their own, but I’ll always remember it as the film that made me look at the ideas behind the mask. There’s something about a character who questions everything and refuses to just accept the world as it is.
The anarchist in me will always remember the 5th of November.
