I loved that this version of Thor wasn't what anyone expected.
After everything he'd been through, seeing him become this completely different version of himself was such a great choice. He was dealing with a lot... and also a lot of beer. Chris Hemsworth is one of those annoying actors who can go from serious to hilarious and somehow nail both. Watching him lean into the comedy side of Thor was brilliant.
And yes... I was very glad nobody ruined that surprise before I got to the cinema.
