Drive is one of those films that takes its time, but when it gets there, you understand why.
There is a coolness to this film that is hard to explain. It’s quiet, patient and doesn’t need to shout to pull you in. Then when the switch flips, everything you’ve been waiting for hits that much harder.
That slow-burn tension is what always stayed with me.
